This last week I have been a bit preoccupied, there have been a number of different things going on in my life which have meant that it has not been a good week for me in terms of diet and exercise.
Firstly, I have been quite busy at work. Although I haven’t been stressed or anything like, being busy has taken quite a bit of energy which has meant that I haven’t had as much energy to do other things like exercise (this includes running and walking as well).
Secondly, the darker mornings have been making it much harder for me to get up in the mornings than it was the other week. I have found it quite depressing going from waking up and it being quite light to waking up in darkness again. This makes it feel like I have gone from spring back into winter. I am hoping that the mornings will be back to being light again in a week or so though.
Finally, I have been feeling quite low recently. I am still getting over losing my mum and this has been hitting me really hard for the last couple of weeks. I have found that it is difficult for me to motivate myself to do pretty much anything at the moment. This is the most difficult issue for me to deal with as there is nothing that I can do to make it easier.
I am hoping that things will be better shortly and I can get back to exercising plenty and eating well but I am going to try my best to do what I can in the meantime.
